Introducing Ruairi Edwards

Ruairi Edwards is a nationally sought-after conductor, pianist and vocal coach who works across the UK and internationally, supporting and empowering people to find their voice and to find harmony with themselves and the world.

Former vocal coach and pianist alongside Gareth Malone for the BBC’s BAFTA award-winning The Choir (2012-2014), Ruairi has developed a reputation for bringing joy, passion and a natural love of singing to all of the people and organisations he works with.

A core member of some of the country’s most prestigious choral organisations - including Ex Cathedra and National Children’s Choir of Great Britain - Ruairi works with everyone and everything from experienced chamber choirs and orchestras through to massed choruses of 400+ children; from corporate settings to local communities.

His infectious love of music and genuine commitment to the transformative power of singing is powerful to connect with.

“Ruairi has a rare ability to share his passion and inspire others. I have sung with many choirs, but I’ve never experienced the feeling of joy and sense of community that this one gives. Ruairi is truly inspirational.”
